Planned Parenthood NL’s 2SLGBTQIA+ Warm Line is a peer support service run by and for 2SLGBTQIA+ people in Newfoundland and Labrador. If you need someone to talk to, call us and we will do our best to support you and provide you resources.

The goals of the Warm Line are as follows:
- Create a safer space for 2SLGBTQIA+ people in NL to talk through their problems/concerns.
- Take pressure off of existing crisis or warmlines that 2SLGBTQIA+ people may be using in the absence of specific warm line
- Connect those in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community with more experience and more to give with those seeking help or someone to talk to.
Launched in 2020 amid the Covid-19 pandemic and heightened social isolation, the warm line endeavours to create a sense of connection, community, and hope for its callers.

The Court is designed to provide an increased level of support, both medical and community based, to accused persons appearing before it. The Mental Health Court is based on the recognition that certain offenders who suffer from a mental disorder may commit offences as a consequence of their mental disorder or due to lifestyle issues related to their mental disorder such as inadequate or inappropriate housing, lack of employment, lack of support, noncompliance with medications and inappropriate self medication with alcohol or drugs. Health care professionals and corrections personnel provide medical support and community based support to the individuals who are accepted into the Court.
