2:00 pm: Webinar: Strongest Families Institute – Promoting Family Mental Wellness

Discover the incredible support available through the Strongest Families Institute! Join us for an engaging session to explore who they are, how their referral process works, and the impactful programs they offer—including those focused on behaviour, anxiety & depression, and nighttime bedwetting. You’ll also get an inside look at their exciting new program adaptation, Parents Empowering Neurodiverse Kids. Learn who can benefit most from these services and how families can access the help they need.

Katryna Guitar is the Senior Field and Outreach Manager at the Strongest Families Institute, with over a decade of experience with the organization she specializes in the programs Strongest Families has to offer and in community engagement and strategic outreach.

6:30 pm: Bereavement Education Session

This provincial virtual education session is for adults (ages 18+) who are experiencing grief due to death. These sessions will provide information on understanding grief, guide you through the grieving process, and give suggestions on what you can do to help yourself and others during this time of grief. The session will include a presentation, videos and opportunity for discussion or to ask questions about grief. These sessions are free and open to the general public.
The monthly schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, June 10th, 6:30pm-8:00pm island time (6:00pm-7:30pm Labrador)
