Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a comprehensive, evidence-based treatment that works to provide a balance of acceptance and change using validation, problem solving and behaviour change strategies. DBT strives to help people acquire, strengthen and generalize new skills. Comprehensive treatment consists of weekly individual therapy sessions, a 24-week skills group, a consultation team for therapists and the availability of coaching calls to assist with skill development if necessary.
