Free and open to the public, these sessions will cover understanding grief, guide you through the grieving process, and give suggestions on what you can do to help yourself and others during this time of grief.

Virtual Groups that can be accessed by any residents of Newfoundland and Labrador
Did you know that group based therapy can be just as effective as individual therapy in addressing a wide array of mental health and addictions issues? In fact group interventions offer some unique benefits, such as shared support and connections with others. Check out some of the groups we are offering at NL Health Services. These groups are facilitated by skilled mental health clinicians in our province.
This group is for adults (ages 18+) who are experiencing difficulty in managing intense emotions, difficulties in their relationships, and overall struggles in day-to-day life. Over the course of this 12 week group participants will have the opportunity to learn and practice the skills of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), which has been shown to be effective in addressing many mental health issues. This group is a safe space for all to connect and gain tools to improve their mental health.
Participants in this group will be required to do weekly practice, and regular attendance is required.
