Is Group Right for Me?

Groups can be very effective and rewarding, even having some benefits you cannot get in individual therapy.

Are you wondering what it is like to attend a group for your mental health? Do you wonder if a group can help you? Maybe you are nervous to meet new people and fear you won’t fit in? This video will provide you with information on what to expect when attending a group for mental health treatment. It will answer many of the common questions people ask, and hopefully even help with some of the natural worries people may have.

You can also check out Frequently Asked Questions: Provincial Groups.

Different groups are offered at different times. If you’re interested in a group, but it’s not being offered currently, please email nlgroups@nlhealthservices.ca to get more information.
