The Early Psychosis Program is designed to meet the needs of people diagnosed with a first episode of psychosis. Individuals must be 16 years or older and within their first three months of treatment for psychosis. The goals of the program are to provide early recognition and identification of individuals experiencing psychotic symptoms, comprehensive assessment, intervention and support for individuals and families, promotion of recovery and prevention of relapse, and provision of education to individuals, families, health workers, and the community.
