I have always struggled with severe nightmares caused by c-ptsd. I’ve recently learned a new bedtime ritual that helps me more than anything I’ve ever tried, better than the plethora of different medications I’ve tried. I’d like to share in hopes it can help someone else. I look for Reiki healing music the ones wooden flutes are beautiful. I turn the music on low when I’m going to bed and let the music help me picture a beautiful oasis I keep picturing new things like flowers/trees waterfalls things that make me feel calm…. Until eventually I fall asleep. Most times this helps change some of the bad aspects of my nightmares to good…. And the more I practice the better it gets.
