The FASD Multidisciplinary Diagnostic Clinic is a team of healthcare professionals offering regional clinics to assess and diagnose Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder based on the Canadian guidelines for diagnosis. The Regional FASD Coordinator organizes clinics in the region and provides support to families, as well as training and education about FASD.

Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) teams provide treatment of illness and symptoms, hands-on assistance with daily living activities and recovery support for individuals, usually over the age of 18 years, with serious mental illness and concurrent disorders. FACT strives to ensure continuity of care and prevent unnecessary admissions to hospital by providing intensive services for individuals within their communities through assertive community outreach. The Wiseman Centre is an emergency shelter and supportive housing to homeless men age 25-64 and women age 30-64.
Grace Sparkes House located in Marystown, Newfoundland provides safe, supportive accommodations to women with or without children who are fleeing family violence.
Operating as 10 bed emergency shelter, Grace Sparkes House provides a free, confidential service to women and children for a six-week period. Our staff work from a supportive approach providing women with many options for counselling, safety planning, legal/court support, referrals/advocacy, housing and information about violence against women. Grace Sparkes House is a 24 hour service and we can be reached at any time through our toll free crisis line 1-877-774-4957.
A safe place to stay, at no cost, and necessities provided. Accommodation in a communal living setting for up to six weeks. Supportive counselling by experienced, non-judgmental staff, as well as help with securing housing, finances, legal issues, and referrals to other agencies and supports.

Violence can be prevented. Education and awareness is one key element in reducing violence in our schools, community and homes. REV works to provide education and bring awareness to issues surrounding violence, because we believe everybody has the right to live in work in a safe environment.
Violence Prevention East was formerly known as Eastern Region Committee Against Violence or ERCAV. It is a non-profit, volunteer committee, made up of individuals from both government and community. They meet regularly in the Clarenville-Bonavista area of NL to discuss issues relating to violence.
