Marguerite’s Place -SJSOWC

From the comfort and safety of their own apartments, Marguerite’s Place assists women move toward independence. We follow a trauma-informed, holistic approach and provide around-the-clock on-site staff. We provide women with tools and knowledge to develop healthy relationships, skills, and community connections to navigate challenges and crisis.

Geriatric Psychiatry Referral Coordinator (65+)

This is a specialized geriatric psychiatry nursing position which is primarily responsible for the comprehensive assessment of people over the age of 65 who require mental health services. The intake coordinator also provides a single point of access to programs and services offered by the geriatric psychiatry program.

Lifewise is proud to offer peer support in partnership with services at Doorways in St. John’s. Facilitated by trained staff, peer support is the act of supporting one another through the connection of similar experiences, with no hierarchy or power dynamics. Peer support is a formal part of single-session, walk-in clinics, allowing timely access to peer support and clinical supports. Peer support sessions are available on a one-to-one basis in-person, by telephone and virtually.
