6:00 pm: Wellness Wednesday’s

September 4, 2024

We would like to invite you to take part in our Wellness Wednesday’s. Wellness Wednesdays provide the opportunity for all residents of the province (age 18+) to learn information, and tools, to support good mental health. These sessions are offered by local mental health staff who are a part of the Mental Health Program of NL Health Services. Each week there will be a different topic of learning. People can attend one week, or as many as they like.

*What these sessions are for:
Sometimes we can get overwhelmed looking for the right information to help us improve our mental health. Sometimes we have not had the opportunity to access information and learn effective skills. These sessions will provide a safe, low barrier way to access information that is effective and relevant to you. Sessions will be offered by zoom so that people can access them from the comfort of their own home, no matter where they live in the province.

*How it works:
Email nlgroups@nlhealthservices.ca to register to get the zoom link (you need to register prior to 3:00 on the day of the session you wish to attend).
When emailing please indicate the date you are seeking to register for.
Sessions are free.
People are encouraged to turn their camera on, but it is not mandatory (you also do not need to provide your name when attending).
If you have any requests or suggestions for additional topics please feel free to let us know. Future sessions to be announced.
